This cover is significantly better than its peers. The material is the same used in quality outdoor furniture. The zipper seems study and seals well. The cover looks the same today as it did when we installed it on the canoe last fall.

Note however that the sizing is exact. If your canoe is the least bit longer than the maximum lenght the cover will not fit. A cover for a sixteen foot canoe means just that 16′ and 0″.

Pros: Heavy material construction, attractive, sturdy.

Cons: Tight fit if canoe is max size. Don’t even think of stretching to fit a larger canoe.

Would buy again and would recommend to another.

It’s a good cover for my 16 ft. Penobscot canoe. It just fits. I got it to keep the spiders out of my boat, and it does that. I drug it across my gravel driveway, and it got a few small holes in the bottom, which was disappointing, but it is fabric, after all. It’s a good product, and I would recommend it.

Nice heavy duty canvas, lining and zipper. Seems tough, weather- and water-resistant; sufficient handles for dragging the boat around. Wish they offered more variety of sizes; I had to buy the 9-12 foot size for my 9 foot kayak – way too big. So I always have to fold or bind up the extra material. Not a big problem, but the reason for 4 stars.

Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this cover.

Pros- tough, good coverage, protects my kayak well from UV light (and so far, from the neighborhood chipmunks)

Cons- Leaks a little, so there’s a tendency to have a little water inside it. Color fades somewhat.

Bottom line- this cover will do a good job of protecting your canoe or kayak from UV, bangs and scratches, and from filling up with rainwater. But, it will not completely protect your boat from the elements.
