The Eames LCW designed in 1946 is still quite amazing. Its a very comfortable chair that has stood the test of time and is now considered one of the finest pieces of mid-century design. The wood grain on the walnut version is quite stunning and gives the design so much character. A great addition to anyone’s home… once you figure out which color you want.

This beautiful classic-design wooden chair is one if the most comfortable wooden chairs I have ever sat in. It is appropriately named a lounge chair. Not often mentioned is the purpose of the slightly shorter legs. This feature causes the user’s legs to stretch out in front in a very natural manner, the way a chair with an ottoman would. In this case there is no need for an ottoman. The thighs rest on the front of the chair, distributing weight very comfortably.
The construction quality is superb and it looks great. We bought a pair of the stained black which have the appearance of a very deep brown. All the colors are great. I only wish we could have several of each.
